Dave was born in early 1970 in a Des Moines, Iowa hospital that no longer exists. He is a divorced father of three cool teenagers and a lifelong programmer and tinkerer. He sometimes speaks of himself in the third person and has an epic beard.

When he's not coding for fun and profit, Dave can usually be found playing videogames, writing nihilistic rants, making bad music, and hanging out with his kids. His latest kicks are game programming in Unity Engine, trying to learn to draw, and fiddling with electronics and microcontrollers.
